Poland 20 Zlotych 2009 European Green Lizard (Lacerta viridis)

Obverse: Image of the eagle from the official national emblem of the Republic of Poland. Under the eagle there is the year of issue: 2009, below there is an inscription: ZŁ 20 ZŁ. On the sides of eagle’s paws there are images of the Polish national flag. A semicircular inscription at the top: RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA. There is the mint mark under the eagle’s left leg. Reverse: In the central part there are images of two lizards. The lizard on the left is leaning against rocks. In the background, at the top and at the bottom, there are images of plants.
